Colace is used for the prevention of dry, hard stools. CAUTION Pregnant or nursing women should seek the advice of their health professional before using this product. Keep this medication out of the reach of children. Store at or below 30 degrees C or 86 degrees F DIRECTIONS Children 6 to 12 years old: 1 capsule. Adults and children 12 years or older: 1 to 3 capsules. The highest dose should be taken until the first bowel movement. After first bowel movement, a lower dose should be taken for maintenance.
